The Made By Physios brand is the only CBD company that is owned, managed, and developed by actual clinicians.
The entirety of our products were developed alongside our clinical needs. We are a team of physical therapists in different parts of Suffolk County, Long Island. Every single day our schedules are filled with injured folks who are in pain, anxious, and stressed. PT is only one part of the puzzle, and in recognizing this we started out by working with CBD lotions during manual therapy sessions.
That early success eventually branched out into formulating what is now our lotion product, Peconic Bay Gold. But, we also recognized other patient needs that could be fulfilled by using terpenes and less common cannabinoids which has now led us into developing gummies, tinctures, and dog treats.
Fact: Each Product Is Named for Part of the Local Dialect
For example, Peconic Bay Gold on the east end of LI is actually another term for bay scallops. East End Ease recallsthe slowed down pace of the beach towns on the east end. Whereas Up Island Euphoria references the need for everyone in western long island (up islanders) to feel calmer but remain focused. Bonac Tonic is such named because people native to the east end are called bonackers (a.k.a. clam diggers). And lastly we have Lettie's, named after our anxiety rehabilitation puppy, who is both the sweetest and calmest dog you could meet.
We like fun product names.
But, we have serious standards.
Everything we’ve made has been clinically field tested with actual patients.
These tests occur over the course of months using the same scientific rigor you’d find in an actual journal publication. We benchmark our data across demographics, diagnoses, time since injury, co-morbidities, medications, and other metrics. In short, our products are safe, effective, and accountable.
